Truffle Base
  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
Coating
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chopped or chips

Method
 

  1. Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or sealed bag and rolling pin.
  2. Mix crushed cookies with softened cream cheese until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Roll mixture into 1-tablespoon balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate truffle balls for at least 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt chocolate in 30-second microwave intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into melted chocolate, coating completely, and return to parchment.
  7. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature or in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

For best results, use full-fat cream cheese and chill truffles thoroughly before dipping. Customize with toppings or flavored Oreos.
