Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet until browned; drain excess grease.
  3. Whisk pancake mix, milk, eggs, butter, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle sausage evenly over the batter.
  6. Top with remaining batter and spread gently.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and set.
  8. Rest briefly, slice, and serve warm with maple syrup.

Notes

Can be assembled the night before and baked in the morning. Freezer-friendly.
