Ingredients
  

Cheese Ball Mixture
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple drained well
  • 0.5 cup bell pepper finely chopped
  • 0.33 cup green onions sliced
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 cup pecans finely chopped, optional
Coating
  • 1 cup pecans finely chopped for rolling

Method
 

  1. Combine softened cream cheese, drained pineapple, bell pepper, and green onions in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
  3. If using, stir in the optional finely chopped pecans.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball using plastic wrap. Wrap tightly and chill for at least 2 hours.
  5. Once firm, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans until fully coated.
  6. Serve with crackers, pretzels, vegetables, or bread slices.

Notes

For best flavor, allow the cheese ball to chill overnight before serving.
