Ingredients
  

Sandwich
  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 tbsp butter softened
  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • red pepper flakes optional
  • fresh basil optional garnish

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-low heat.
  3. Place two slices bread butter-side down in skillet and spread sauce on top.
  4. Add mozzarella, pepperoni, Parmesan, and seasoning.
  5. Top with remaining bread slices sauce-side down.
  6. Cook until bottom is golden brown, about 3–5 minutes.
  7. Flip and cook second side until golden and cheese melts.
  8. Rest briefly, slice, and serve.

Notes

Use low heat for best melt and crisp texture. Customize toppings as desired.
