- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and arrange in baking dish.
- Mix ricotta, parmesan, olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, herbs, and seasoning.
- Spread ricotta mixture evenly over chicken breasts.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
- Optional: broil for 2–3 minutes for a lightly golden top.
- Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use whole-milk ricotta for best texture and flavor.
