Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese whole milk preferred
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and arrange in baking dish.
  3. Mix ricotta, parmesan, olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, herbs, and seasoning.
  4. Spread ricotta mixture evenly over chicken breasts.
  5. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
  6. Optional: broil for 2–3 minutes for a lightly golden top.
  7. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use whole-milk ricotta for best texture and flavor.
