Method
- Warm caramel sauce until pourable and stir in sea salt.
- Beat softened cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth.
- Whip heavy cream and vanilla extract to stiff peaks.
- Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture.
- Layer Ritz crackers in the bottom of an 8x8 dish.
- Spread cream mixture over crackers and drizzle with caramel.
- Repeat layers until dish is full.
- Top with more caramel and crushed Ritz crackers.
- Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
For best results, chill overnight. Taste improves after 24 hours.
