Ingredients
  

Bread Dough
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1.5 cups warm water

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, yeast, salt, rosemary, and cheddar in a large bowl.
  2. Add warm water and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover and let rise 12–18 hours at room temperature.
  4. Shape dough gently and rest 30–45 minutes.
  5. Bake covered in preheated Dutch oven at 450°F for 30 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake 12–15 minutes until golden.
  7. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for best melt and flavor.
