- Cook linguine in salted water until just under al dente; drain and set aside.
- Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
- Sear shrimp in olive oil over medium-high heat for 1–2 minutes per side; remove and set aside.
- Melt butter in the skillet, add garlic, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add white wine and lemon juice; simmer for 2 minutes.
- Lower heat, stir in heavy cream, and simmer 3–4 minutes.
- Add parmesan until melted and smooth; adjust consistency with pasta water if needed.
- Combine pasta, sauce, shrimp, and half of the mozzarella; transfer to baking dish.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and buttered breadcrumbs.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Finish with parsley and lemon zest before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add garlic powder or a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce before baking.
