Method
- Place beef, mushrooms, garlic, and onion in the slow cooker.
- Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours until beef is tender.
- Stir in sour cream and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- To thicken, mix cornstarch and water and stir it into the slow cooker for 10–15 minutes.
- Serve stroganoff over hot egg noodles and garnish with parsley.
Notes
For extra flavor, brown the beef before adding it to the slow cooker.
