Method
- Place beef in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic.
- Whisk broth, Worcestershire, and seasonings together and pour over beef.
- Cook on Low 7–8 hours or High 4–5 hours until beef is tender.
- Mix cornstarch and cold water to form a slurry.
- Stir slurry into slow cooker and cook 15–20 minutes to thicken.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Notes
Adjust seasonings to taste. Optional: sear beef before adding for richer flavor.
