Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup wild rice blend uncooked
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 2 celery stalks diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 6 cups chicken broth low sodium
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Add chicken, vegetables, rice, broth, and seasonings to slow cooker.
  2. Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  3. Shred chicken and return to slow cooker.
  4. Stir in cream and cook until creamy.

Notes

Add cream at the end for best texture.
