Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook spicy Italian sausage in a skillet until browned. Drain well.
- In a bowl, combine sausage, mozzarella, Parmesan, spinach, roasted red peppers, and seasonings.
- Arrange crescent dough triangles in a ring on the baking sheet with wide ends overlapping.
- Spoon sausage filling around the ring onto the wide ends of the dough.
- Fold the pointed ends over the filling and tuck underneath to seal.
- Brush with egg wash and bake 22–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve with marinara or garlic butter for dipping.
