- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, melted butter, sugar, and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake the crust for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden, then remove from oven.
- In a large bowl, whisk together mashed sweet potatoes, sugars, eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Stir in cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the filling over the warm crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until the center is set. Cool completely, then chill before slicing into bars.
Notes
Chill thoroughly for clean slices. Serve with whipped cream for best flavor.
