- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and chopped chocolate.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers soft.
- Cool briefly on sheet, then transfer to wire rack.
