Ingredients
  

Garlic Butter
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder optional
Bread
  • 1 baguette halved lengthwise
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated optional

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Knife
  • Foil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet.
  2. Mix butter, olive oil, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Spread mixture evenly over bread halves.
  4. Sprinkle Parmesan if using.
  5. Wrap bread loosely in foil and bake 10 minutes.
  6. Open foil, separate halves, and bake 5–7 minutes until crisp.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor use roasted garlic instead of raw.
