Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 24 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs large
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
Cranberry Topping
  • 2 cups cranberries fresh or frozen
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare springform pan.
  2. Mix crust ingredients, press into pan, and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then sour cream, vanilla, and zest.
  5. Pour filling over crust and bake in water bath for 55–65 minutes.
  6. Cool gradually, then chill at least 4 hours.
  7. Simmer cranberry topping ingredients until thickened.
  8. Top cheesecake with cranberry sauce before serving.

Notes

Cheesecake tastes best when chilled overnight.
