Ingredients
  

Garlic Butter
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
Sandwich
  • 4 slices artisan bread
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded or sliced

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan until smooth.
  2. Spread garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place two slices butter-side down. Layer mozzarella and cheddar on top.
  4. Top with remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Cook sandwiches 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from pan, rest briefly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, or swap cheeses to customize.
