Cake Batter
  • 6 oz white chocolate chopped
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs large
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Butter and flour four ramekins and place on a baking sheet.
  2. Melt white chocolate and butter together until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. Whisk eggs, egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, and salt until pale and thickened.
  4. Gradually whisk in melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Fold in flour until just combined.
  6. Divide batter among ramekins, filling about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake 11–13 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  8. Rest 1 minute, invert onto plates, garnish, and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality white chocolate and avoid overbaking to maintain a molten center.
